Hello blog viewers! I am still working projects now into 2021! I have been smitten by a bracelet premiered by Beadshop.com - Kate & Emily. It is basically sewing bead fringe onto a bracelet! Challenging at times, but i am getting better at it. I love the color palates that are possible to express in this form of beadwork. I will get a picture up (promises, promises) and also on my facebook page, "Bead Enthusiast" (Etc.) -Karen

It has been a number of years since i was blogging here on blogger! I now have a fb page: "Bead Enthusiast". I am also on Instagram (i have to figure that one out): Bead Enthusiast_etc. Was going to go into business, or get a new job -- and let the beads go by the wayside...NO! That didn't happen, so what is happening: i made 4 lovely beaded beads (some are on my facebook). One is for _me_ to treasure! Stop back and see my creations, colorful & bead worthy!!
I'll leave You with one thought about the beading hobby. I thought i could raise the nobility of my craft, by knowing "bede" means to...
"(From Middle English _bēde_ (“prayer, request, supplication, rosary, bead”), from Old English gebed (“prayer, petition, supplication, religious service, an ordinance”), from Proto-Germanic *_bedą_ (“prayer, entreaty”). Cognate with Dutch gebed and bede, German Gebet. bede - Wiktionary")

Thanks for the encouragement!
Cindy,
I appreciate the 'shot in the arm' (... i worked as a nurse for so long). I am excited to see 160-some bead artists & artisans, all set out for the same challenge. It will be interesting to see how each translates their "booty" into wearables & works of art.

Hi, Button swapper!
I am glad to make your acquaintance! I like your work, posted on your blog site.
Jenna, do you think you will want the selections i've picked out, already, or do you
have some pre-conceived notions in your mind? Colors you really wouldn't like - -
Let me know, so i can get the package in the mail.
